Time to Plant

May 4th, 2011

This afternoon I went to my favorite garden center with Marcel and I started picking up a few plants and flowers for the garden.   I still need to get some herbs for the herb garden, but our cart was completely full today and there was no room for more.    I am sticking with a yellow, white, orange and red theme this year with a little purple thrown in for good measure-  but it’s all about the brights.     My clematis didn’t make it through the winter, so today I bought a beautiful deep red one.  I can’t wait for it to bloom.     Amongst the rest of my findings- were some white Cosmos, some red and white Verbenum (Spelling?), two carnations- red and yellow (in memory of Carol- it was her favorite flower), and other things that I fail to remember at the present moment.    Once everything is complete- I’ll share a few pictures.

Right now- I have a whining dog and a husband who needs to be awakened from a nap-so time to dash.

I had the back of my yard all done up, but the neighbors ivy killed everything. I am livid. Rob and I would love to sell the house and move into a condo where we don’t have to worry about anything.

Take pix, I would love to see the outcome.
