Seeing Clearly

January 31st, 2014

Yesterday, while we were getting the ball rolling for answers on Marcel’s health situation, his mom was also in the same hospital having cataract surgery on one of her eyes. It was a total coincidence that it happened that way, but I’m happy she was able to get the surgery done, and hopefully won’t have that feeling any longer as though she has a haze over one eye. She’s said family eyewear has been something that she’s just gotten used to over the years, but according to the doctor, if all heals well, she may no longer need anything outside of reading glasses.

She had her follow-up appointment this morning, where they removed her pirate patch, and checked to see how all was going. She’s healing as hoped, so just a few days of taking it easy and she’ll be seeing things much more clearly.
