Return of Soup Saturday

October 8th, 2010

Now that the weather has started cooling off a little, I’ve decided that it’s time for “Soup Saturday” to retrurn. This season, instead of just sharing recipes, I’m actually going to attempt to make soup every Saturday and share y’all the recipe that I use and pictures of the process.

I’ve already chosen this weeks soup- and its the Cauliflower Soup that I had at my friend Kimmie’s last weekend. Her husband made the soup, and it was delish! I’m making a few modifications simply because I like to change things up, but the soup was fabulous just as it was. More on that tomorrow.. when I actually make the soup.

If you have a recipe for ‘soup’ that you’d like to share, or that you’d like to see featured on Soup Saturday- Feel free to send it in to me at lori in care of this site (simplywizardress.com) and who knows- maybe I’ll try it. If you would like to see a particular ingredient featured on Soup Saturday- let me know and maybe I can find something to share with y’all.

Sounds yummy!!! We almost always adjust a recipe to add flavor (Or subtract) in some cases.

    Enjoy.

    Love,
    Bobby

It heated up here. High 70’s and low 80’s. I am loving this warm weather.
I love vegetable soup when it does get chilly.

I am looking forward to this. I love making soups and so often, especially if the recipe is quick or if it is adaptable to the crock pot.
