People Watching 101

December 17th, 2010

I know I promised to share some of the cruise with y’all and I’m slowly but surely getting there. Those of you who know me- know that I love to people watch, and since we were pretty limited to where we could travel while being on board a ship- I got to do a lot of people watching. In fact, there were some days when it entertained me for a few hours.

We found this little quiet spot on the back of the Lido deck where we loved to sit. It was at the hub of everything, but yet it seemed that there were very few of us who actually spent time there. It overlooked the ‘adult’ area, so we were able to observe the hot tubs and the people in them without being obvious. Get a few drinks in some people and they become highly entertaining. It was clear to me that some of the women had never heard of bikini waxing, but yet they also didn’t seem to care. Marcel, Desere and I planned to get in the hot tub the last night, but the weather turned cold (which made sense because we were headed towards freezing temps) and rainy. We ended up spending most of that evening inside, but we did have a great time anyway.

More tales (and pictures) to come.

Oh I have seen all sorts of good and bad in terms of what people wear on the beach.

It all becomes a blur after awhile. We have acclimated to everyone and their particular style at the beach…

I have a hot tub and use it year around. My old bones need work after running and lifting.

We got in that thing with snow on the ground last night. Fantastic!

Merry Christmas to you and your family!

    Love,
    Bobby

I agree Bobby- that’s kind of how it is with us too. We see it all, but I always find drunk people amusing to watch. :)

It’s great to see that you are on FB now. :) hope yall have a very Merry Christmas too!
