Money Making Ideas for the Holidays

November 19th, 2009

With the holidays just around the corner, I know there are many of us who would love to have a little extra cash to spend. For those who find themselves needing a little extra cash right before they get paid, a payday loan can be the perfect solution. Personally I can’t imagine anyone who couldn’t use a little extra moolah this time of the year, and so I thought maybe we could share ideas on how we could make a little extra money.

Offer Services– Many people are having holiday parties and other events and could possibly use the help with the extra house cleaning or even with cooking or baking for the upcoming events. Offer your services for a fee to make a few extra dollars here and there.

Temporary Jobs– Many companies are in need of help to accomodate the extra sales they are expecting for the holidays. If you have the extra time, a temporary job will allow you to make a little extra cash, plus if you are working at a retail store, many of them offer employee discounts which will allow you to save on products purchased at the store, offering a win-win situation.

Donations– Sometimes, if people know you are struggling financially, they will offer you a donation. Many people don’t always feel comfortable with this, but if someone offers you may want to consider, depending on your financial situation.

Selling Goods– We all know that places like Ebay and other online sites are a great place to recycle your old clothing and other items for a fee. It’s a great way to add a few extra bucks to your pocket this holiday season.

Cooking or Baking for Those who Have No Time– Many people who either don’t have time, can’t, or don’t want to cook will pay for those who can cook or bake well. Offer your services to family and friends who are busy, but who would like home cooked products during the holiday season.

These are just a few ideas to make some extra cash during the holiday season. I’d love to hear your ideas. After all, tis the season to give.
