Life is Good

September 6th, 2009

I had big plans of staying up tonight until a certain writing assignment that is due tomorrow is complete, but I decided why should I stay up for at least two more hours just so I can say that I finished today, when technically I don’t have to finish until tomorrow? My work load for tomorrow is not real heavy, so two extra hours won’t make or break me, plus I need my beauty sleep.

Bible study starts again a week from Tuesday, and I’m really looking forward to starting back again. I’ve decided that I’m not going to work but for one of my clients on Tuesdays, allowing me time to go to Bible study without feeling any stress of getting home in a hurry.

Desere came for coffee tonight and we spent some time catching up with each other. I lounged in bed really late this morning, and I actually got up, grabbed the phone and went back to the bed, where I called and caught up with her. We usually talk at least once every other day, and it had been three or four days since we talked, so we had alot to catch up on.

This coming weekend we are going to a city about an hour away to see a musical. We’ve had tickets for probably five or six months, so it’s going to be fun to finally go. We plan to go for lunch, and from there we’ll go to the musical and then back home. Her brother in law’s birthday is also that evening, and she’s invited me to come along, so if I don’t have pending work to do, then I’ll probably go with her, otherwise I’ll come home.

The weekend after that, the four of us are going away for a night to another town, which also happens to be near the town where the new addition to our family lives. By then he’ll have his eyes open and be moving around some, so I can’t wait to see how much he’s grown. I’ll definitely take photos this next trip. I can’t wait.

This next month has alot happening, with a baby shower coming up that I’m hosting for a dear friend, and with Marcel’s birthday in October. Marcel and I are also going away for a few days in October, and we’ll get the puppy around Halloween. As you can see, much is happening in our world.

Life is good though, really good.
