Just One of the Girls

February 24th, 2010

Today for the first time this year, I had a few friends over for lunch and also for a little girl chat. There were five of us, and six if you count Marcel, who stuck around for a while to join in on the conversation. I sometimes think that he is afraid he is going to miss something, and I think it’s hilarious. Where most men would be running out the door to get away from a room full of women, Marcel can’t wait to see what we are talking about, and interject something that is totally off subject.

He was out walking the dog when everyone left, so now it’s just the two of us. He’s asking me about getting a new auto insurance quote, because he heard from a friend that we could get the same coverage much cheaper if we went with another company. I’m not sure how much truth there is to that, but looks like I’m going to have to find out.
