Enthusiasm- Trust30 (Day 22)

June 21st, 2011

“Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.” is a great line from Emerson. If there’s no enthusiasm in what you do, it won’t be remarkable and certainly won’t connect with people on an emotional basis. But, if you put that magic energy into all of your work, you can create something that touches people on a deeper level. How can you bring MORE enthusiasm into your work? What do you have to think or believe about your work to be totally excited about it? Answer it now.

Years ago I remember seeing an episode of Oprah where she talks about that if you make your life’s passion your work- no matter what it is- that you won’t really feel as though you’re working at all, but living what you’re called to do.    I don’t think there is a bigger example of that in the world than Miss Oprah herself.     In her last show- she mentioned that we are all called to do something and to be good at somthing- and it’s up to us to find that platform and let our lights shine-   Those weren’t here exact words, but close.

I am a passionate person-  When I love something- no matter what it is, I’m very passionate about it.    I am passionate about my writing work, and I’m passionate about the people I surround myself with, along with photography, cooking and many other things.    The crossroads I’ve mentioned several times- also is in regards to a passion that I have- and I’m exploring my options.    The thought is completely exciting and I know the possibilities endless and I’m working on making that passion into a part of my every day life.   I just have to trust- and be patient and the rest will unfold as it should.

Trust thyself: every heart vibrates to that iron string. – Ralph Waldo Emerson
