Does it Matter?

January 23rd, 2011

Something I noticed when we were home is how diddy looked at every single label of things they bought and even of things they didn’t to see where they came from. Many of those items were made in China and sadly, fewer are being made in the goold ole U S of A. I did find a few things, such as the Tervis Tumbler Samantha gave me as part of my Christmas gift, plus the jeans I bought. There were other things, but those were the two that I can remember off the top of my head.

Diddy said that he would really love to see marketing products union made and other items brought back to the United States as opposed to being made in other places. I know there are many American’s who would love the opportunity to work, especially with the unemployment rate being so high at the moment.

What do you think? Would you pay a little more for something to be made in the US or would you prefer the cheap prices and having it made in another country, who knows where? I’d love to know what y’all think. I’ll admit that before I noticed diddy checking the labels that I never looked to see where something was made. I would always check the quality of how the product was made or assembled, but never where it was made. Now I find myself wondering, out of curiosity. Does it matter to you?
