Browsing Hotels in San Francisco

June 23rd, 2010

Mom and I were talking a few nights ago about a trip that they made to San Francisco a few years ago and some of the hotels in san francisco that they stayed at while they were there. As most of you know, Marcel and I are planning some serious vacation time later in the year, and San Francisco is one place that I’ve never been.

I don’t know about you, but when I’m staying at a hotel, I like to consider it my little home away from home for those days. I like for the beds to be comfortable, for there to be great restaurants on the property, plus I love to have Internet, hair dryers and a mini fridge in the room. Those are just a few of the things that make it feel somewhat like home to me.

The West coast is looking pretty good, but we’ve just got to decide if we can fit it into this trip, or if it will have to wait until the next.

Um, I have a chance to visit San Fran. I may go. I prefer the East Coast however.

Do what you can and enjoy yourself. I have a new camera (my daughter took my last new one) so I am back to taking pictures and posting them.

    Love,
    Bobby

Hey girl, I talked with Keyra yesterday and she’s looking forward to your visit in Dec/Jan. I told Greg last night that I wanted to go home then so I could see you guys. Keep me posted on your plans and the get-together and I’ll try to plan around it.

Oh, and one year Greg took me to SF for our anniversay. It’s fun, but the most fun was traveling down the West Coast and looking at the beautiful coastal scenery. We went in Nov and the seals were migrating there. It was cool, they were everywhere!

Ooh I’ll be over to check them out Bobby- I think you should go Bobby- I have always wanted to visit San Fran.

    *hugs*

Beth- We are planning something the first Saturday in January- It’s going to be at the fellowship hall where my parents go to church and I think we are just going to make it a relaxed pot luck kind of thing. Originally we planned to go out somewhere and then talked about even renting a place, but I know that some people may not be able to swing it, so we thought this would be easiest.

I would LOVE to see you. So I hope you can make it down.. at least sometime while we’re home.

I have been up the coast from LA all the way up to Monterey. I have a friend in Hollister and also one in San Diego. I think my favorite town on the coast was San Luis Obispo. I stayed at a bed and breakfast near there in Arroyo Grande and I’ve wanted to go back ever since. I adored it and the innkeeper.
