Sensational Substitutions

May 7th, 2009

Oops, I completely got off track on the last entry about eating well, and losing weight. I do tend to do that from time to time when I start talking about weight loss. I am by far no expert, but seriously, I can’t read enough, or watch enough, because education is always key.

One thing that I find interesting among some of the people that I know and love, is that they don’t realize there are great substitutions to cut calories and fat from some of their favorite dishes.

While there are some things that I rarely eat because of the calorie content, there are others that I’ve found substitutions for that are just as delicious.

Below are a few really great substitutions from my favorite health and wellness website- Sparkpeople (Did I mention that it’s free?). These are just a few to get you started- and I’m sure if you peek around your own kitchen, you’ll find many more that will not only cut calories and fat, but also add more nutrition to your diet. Simple steps that make a huge difference. Who needs Liporexall, when you can make conscious choices?
